Nikhil Makhijani

Nikhil Makhijani is a recent graduate from the Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University. Joining CEPT in 2016 when the campus started evolving physically because of its growing Student body rooted his interests in how old buildings and sites could become places for creative thinking and discourse. Dwelling further into this topic through his academic projects in the final year he tries how new interventions seemingly different from the old can thoughtfully borrow their significance and characteristics from the existing structures while solving various issues they possess. Currently, he is a teaching assistant at CEPT and is working independently on some small-scale projects involving adaptive reuse.
