PVK Rameshwar FIIA, FIUDI, AIID, is a practising Architect, Urban Designer and an Academician. Partner, SHILANYAS (a Partnership Firm since 1989) offers consultation in Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape, Interior Design and Jewellery – graduated from School of Architecture, CEPT, Ahmedabad; received Masters in Architecture and Urban Design from School of Architecture, Washington University, St. Louis, USA in 1986. Trained with Kohn Pedersen FoxAssociates, New York City and later worked in New Jersey. Winner, 7th Annual JIIA Award for Excellence in Architecture 1995 for Private Residence at Jaipur and Commendation, 10th Annual JIIA Awards 1998 for Industry at Udaipur. Till recently Chairman Graduate School and Professor and Head, Masters Programin Urban Design, Faculty ofArchitecture, CEPT University, Ahmedabad. Serves as Advisor and Expert Member for various organisations and institutions- most recent appointment being as Expert Member, Andhra Pradesh State Level Strategic Urban Development Expert Committee to deliberate and advice on various Urban Development matters including chalking out strategies for the development of the New Capital and Smart Cities. Has extensively travelled in India and abroad- Lectured, attended & conducted seminars/workshops, served as Juror, Convenor/Expert Member of COA inspection Committee forArchitectural/Urban Design Education.
