Mahesh Radhakrishnan

Mahesh Radhakrishnan is an Architect and Designer from Chennai, India. His multidisciplinary work experience include designing a washing scrubber, study of master plan for Addis Abba, set design for theatre, documentation of life of truck drivers on Indian highway, co-founding a gorilla group that fixed pot holes on roads, designed an interactive climbing game with his friends and published a research on the transforming city of Chennai. He is the Founder Principal of MOAD – The Madras Office for Architects and Designers. With a small body of work, MOAD is focused on design as a creative response to the context. Mahesh has been actively involved in academia by associating with a number of institutions in the region. He is closely involved as a visiting faculty for the postgraduate and undergraduate program at the School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University Chennai. He is the Managing Trustee of the CAF- Chennai Architecture Foundation, a non-profit organization established to promote architecture and education in the city of Chennai. Mahesh is the core group member of Urban Design Collective, a non-profit organization that works as a collaborative platform towards the creation of livable & sustainable cities through community engagement
