Dominic Sansoni (Colombo, 1956) is a photographer who received his education in Colombo and graduated from the West Surrey College of Art and Design, UK in 1979. Assignments on travel and documentary photography have taken him around the world. He now concentrates on his personal work - the recording of vernacular architecture in South India, and the documentation of particular festivals and 'Sacred Space' in Sri Lanka. His most recent publication was ‘The Island from Above’, aerial photographs of Sri Lanka with Sebastian Posingis. His work may be seen on their collective web site, www.threeblindmen.com. What he likes doing best is travelling with no agenda.
