Ruturaj Parikh

Ruturaj Parikh is an architect from Mumbai, India. He is the Director of the Charles Correa Foundation (CCF), based in Goa, where he works on public projects, content initiatives and research in human settlements. He has been involved in social projects that include listing and grading heritage buildings, redevelopment of backward and informal settlements, low-cost housing and design for child-friendly anganwadis amongst others. From 2010 till 2014, Ruturaj co-edited Indian Architect & Builder magazine and curated multiple editorial compilations that includes ‘Practices of Consequence’ and ‘Ethos’. He also curated and organized three editions of 361° Conferences. Ruturaj has worked as a consultant with INTACH on the Jaisalmer heritage project. He established Studio Matter – a design and publishing platform in 2014 with his partner Maanasi Hattangadi. He is the curator of The Z-Axis: an annual conference on architecture and urban design and DWELL – a workshop on housing in Indian Context.
